Popopure Maid Cafe in Akihabara

Cafe Review by Emika

Popopure Maid Café has a veranda where the maid staff wave to you down on the street. There are also very friendly maids in front of the café where they invite and greet people to come in as they pass along the street and into their shop. This makes you feel very welcome and happy to enter!

IMG_9990 Inside, the maid that served me knew how to speak English—as they have some staff that cater specifically to foreigners and tourists who don’t have Japanese as their native language. The maids were so sweet and accommodating as they serve you and take your order!  #_#

Popopure Maid Cafe in Akihabara When my order arrived, the maids engaged me in a magical chant for my food to make it tastier and more enjoyable! You chant along, say “kyun kyun!” and perform the actions as well, which makes the experience memorable!  @.@

IMG_0012 The chant must have worked because the food was great and the experience unforgettable! I tried the matcha cake with beans and their café latte. You can take photos of your food, but unfortunately, not of the rest of the café interior.  /^_^/
