[About Daiyuzan Saijo-ji Temple]
This temple of important statues lies in a quiet cedar grove. The assistant to the founder is said to have become an eternal caretaker in the form of a goblin (“tengu”). [source: http://kanagawa-travel-info.com/english/tourism_articles/63]
There is a legend that if a pregnant woman can pass under the geta, she will have an easy delivery.
To get to Daiyuzan Saijo-ji, you must take the local Daiyuzan Line from Odawara Station to Daiyuzan Station, which is the last stop. Then you can walk or take a bus.
